A Hopping Bunny Ball

 The 2016 Bunny Ball did not disappoint previous party goers. The black tie charity celebration benefiting Cruise 4 Kids enlisted neon-painted models, little people in bunny costumes, a lady on stilts, a magician, and an ever growing pile of stuffed bunnies. The bunnies will be donated to sick and needy children…. after being used as a soft landing for attendees who cant resist diving into a plush mountain of bunnies. Held at the beautiful Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa, we snacked on a whimsical candy buffet, listened to cocktail crooner Barry Allen Cohen, and glammed up in a vintage-style photo booth. To cap the night off, we were treated to a huge balloon drop! Called an “adult Disneyland” the evening did not disappoint in the magical, over the top treats and specticles.  Last year’s inaugural Bunny Ball attracted over 2,000 attendees with over 1,000 stuffed bunnies collected for Miracle Babies at Rady Children’s Hospital. This year’s goal was to collect over 1,500 stuffed bunnies and while official numbers aren’t yet in, judging by the turnout they likely surpassed that goal.
