October 24 – Dia De Los Muertos Fiesta
At this pop-up party at Moniker General, the trendy retail-bar concept in Liberty Station honors Dia De Los Muertos— Day of the Dead! The event will feature sugar skull crafting, the vibrant skeletal figurine that represents a departed soul in Mexican tradition. Indulge in a taco bar with all the fixings, live music and good company. Lift your spirits (pun intended) with Moniker’s Build-Your-Own-Paloma station, choosing between a Spicy Marg or a Oaxaca Old Fashioned, kudos of el Jimador Tequila. October 25 – Trick-or-Treat on India Street
On Friday, Oct. 25, the Little Italy neighborhood will host its 13th annual Trick-or-Treat on India Street from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Kids of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their best costume attire to enjoy an evening of authentic trick-or-treating. Little ghouls, witches and goblins will walk from door-to-door to get delicious Halloween treats and candy from participating Little Italy businesses. Trick-or-Treat on India Street makes it possible for urban families to experience the Halloween tradition in a safe environment. The fun-filled event will kick off in the Piazza della Famiglia with candy giveaways, Halloween festivities, festive décor and music before the community is invited to start trick-or treating from business to business in the neighborhood. Maps of participating businesses will be available at the Piazza the day of the event!
It’s coming, you can’t hide or run from it… it’s The Smoking Gun’s Nightmare on Market Street! October 26 – Pacific Beach AleHouse
Couldn’t make it to the Area 51 raid? No problem! Pacific Beach AleHouse is throwing an Area 51 Extraterrestrial-themed Halloween celebration on Saturday, October 26th and on Halloween Day – both of which are sure to make any Area 51 fanatic ‘beam’ with excitement. Abduct the first-place prize in their alien-themed costume contest, and show off your out-of-this-world dance moves with DJs spinning from 10 p.m. – close.
October 26 – Brews and Boos

October 27 – Halloween at the Station
On Sunday, Oct. 27 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Liberty Station will activate the North Promenade for its Halloween extravaganza, Halloween at the Station! In partnership with San Diego Comic Art Gallery, Comickaze Comics, Books and More and Liberty Public Market, the Liberty Station community will come to life with a Hollywood car show with famous blockbuster iconic cars, Halloween-inspired games, an inflatable 40-foot obstacle course, live music and entertainment, a costume contest, pumpkin patch, and traditional trick-or-treating throughout the community.
October 27 – Monster Bash
Get ready for a fang-tastic time at Corvette Diner’s Monster Mash Party on Sunday, October 27. This Halloween bash is a family-friendly event that will feature spooky tunes from a 50’s Fright Night DJ and balloon artists creating creepy, cool fun. Wear a costume to receive a $5 arcade card and to enter the “best costume” contest with dress-up categories for kids, adults, couples and families. Enjoy devilishly delicious dishes, fun and games at this all-day party where Gals and Ghouls of all ages are welcome.
October 27 – Halloween Trick-Or-Treating at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch
A Spooktacular family-friendly Halloween event is going down at The Village at Pacific Highlands Ranch on Sunday, Oct. 27th. From 3 p.m. – 5 p.m., bring your little ghosts and goblins out in their best costume to celebrate. Kiddos will enjoy bouncing in the jump castle, pumpkin painting and face painting all hosted by The Village. Live music by Justin Froese will keep things upbeat in the Village Square, as families make their way from store to store trick-or-treating. Keane Studios will help capture the special day by providing complimentary photos of trick-or-treaters.
October 29 – Louisiana Purchase
Louisiana Purchase is getting in the holiday spirit by hosting a Culinary Collective Murder Mystery Experience, on Tuesday, October 29th. Guests will experience a private dinner while trying to solve the murder mystery of the bayou. This 5-course dinner, designed by Executive Chef Quinnton ‘Q’ Austin, comes with cocktail pairings, courtesy of Rob McShea, and tickets can be purchased here. This will be a dinner, and evening, to die for!
October 30 – Mavericks Beach Club
This “Paw”loween goes to the dogs at Mavericks Beach Club on Wednesday, October 30th. From 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., furry friends can enjoy the off-leash dog park, doggy trick or treating, swag and much more! Humans can enjoy drink specials throughout the event, and costumes are encouraged – for people and dogs – as there will be a contest at 8:00 p.m. On Thursday, October 31st, Mavericks will celebrate the spooky holiday with a black light party, fright fest, contortionists, sword swallowers, face painting and more, from 8:00 p.m. to close. Just don’t forget to wear your costume!
October 31 – Backyard Kitchen & Tap
Cruise your broomstick on over to Backyard Kitchen & Tap for their Coven-themed Halloween celebration. The Gathering will start at 8 p.m. on Halloween night, followed by a costume contest at 9 p.m., including categories for Most Original, Sexiest and Best Group. First-place winner gets a cash prize, so bring your a-game, and be sure to bust out your best Monster Mash on the dance floor with DJs spinning from 8 p.m. – close!

November 1 – Happy Hour Howloween
Bring your furry friends ready to flaunt their Halloween costume at The Local Pacific Beach’s dog costume contest on November 1. The event is sponsored by Tito’s and White Claw, so doggy moms and dads may enjoy an array of festive happy hour drinks and food while their dogs slay in this one-of-a-kind competition. First, second and third place prizes will be given to contest winners! The event starts at 5 p.m.
November 1-3 Dia de Los Muertos
Join Bazaar del Mundo’s Dia de Los Muertos celebration from Friday, November 1 to Sunday, November 3. The event will feature a lively marketplace of artisans displaying their Day of the Dead-themed wares. Guests will delight in performances from traditional Ballet Folklorico dancers and Casa Guadalajara’s world-class mariachi band – all in painted skeleton faces. Face painting and photo opportunities with a life-size Catrina (a female skeleton figure donning a Mexican folkloric dress and hat) sitting in an 1800s carriage will also be available. Neighboring restaurant, Casa Guadalajara will also host an outdoor Beer & Margarita Garden where guests can purchase and enjoy traditional Mexican beers, house margaritas, delicious street tacos and Mexican street corn known as “esquites.”
