August’s cocktail pick of the month is one that may only be here for a short time – Del Sur Mexican Cantina‘s Coconut Margarita – offered through the end of August! Stop into the South Park eatery to try the sweet combination of coconut purée, 100% agave tequila and lime agave, topped off with a plum sugar rim. The cocktail won this month’s cocktail pick because of how refreshing it is — especially during this major heat wave the city is experiencing. While the drink might look creamy like a pina colada, the margarita is light and fresh, and not too sweet, which make it a perfect cocktail to sip on Del Sur’s patio. The plum sugar rim adds a little extra sweet with a pop of color perfect for your Instagram. Do us a favor — when you go in to order it, request that they keep it on the menu for the rest of the summer!
Del Sur Mexican Cantina boasts some of the city’s best chips and salsa along with a menu consisting new and traditional Mexican fare, often with a healthy twist.
