New in North Park: Encontro

New in North Park this month is the fast not-so-casual Encontro that serves up gourmet versions of classic sandwiches, salads, and even hot dogs to diners and passerbys. The walk-up window is sure to become popular for late night on high traffic 30th Street.  Sitting at the bar means you can have your order taken by the bartender instead of ordering at the counter. Encontro is a haven for sauce lovers – take your pick between Worcestershire Aioli, Basil Aioli, Siracha Aioli, Tatziki, and Whole Grain Mustard. Actually, don’t pick, just order one of each, fitting easily into the sauce holders on the serving board.  Time will tell if Encontro can keep up with the location, but for now happy customers are excited about the North Park addition.
