Queenstown Public House is a longstanding brunch favorite in Little Italy, so I was excited to hear their small Queenstown Bistro in Westfield UTC launched their own weekend brunch as well! You’ll enjoy a similarly spacious patio filled with plants and whimsical touches at the Bistro location, only under the shade of the Westfield UTC mall. The menu, which Queenstown Bistro plans to expand in the near future, offers up classic “brekkie” with a New Zealand twist.
Mimosas are only $5 during brunch, with a selection of flavors (I recommend the Blood Orange!). Or try the delicious Coffee Affogato, made with Caffe Moto coffee and ice cream for a sweet and creamy coffee treat.
For a true Kiwi experience, order up a New Zealand Brekkie – a plate of scrambled cheesy eggs, grilled tomato, baked beans, toast, and country potatoes. Having spent a few years in Australia and NZ myself, I think grilled tomato is an amazing addition to breakfast and hope other restaurants start offering it as well! The country potatoes are wonderfully seasoned and, while I prefer my potatoes crispy, full of flavor. For anyone with a sweet tooth, try the French Toast Bread Pudding served with whipped ricotta and fresh strawberries. My top recommendation is the Croissant Sandwich, perfectly combining scrambled eggs with burrata and prosciutto with arugula, served with country potatoes. The flavors are flawless and sit in a large buttery croissant.
Brunch served on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am—2:00pm.
