Tacos and Tequila Festival on June 11 celebrates the best tequila, beer and tacos in San Diego. Twelve of the best restaurants served signature tacos while featured tequila brands poured tasters. Highlights included a grilled cheese taco. Fifteen local breweries will serve samples of their iconic beers including some summer specialities and seasonals. Live music from These Killers, Latin Lovers, and Azucar entertained the crowd and got everyone dancing. The event benefited the San Diego Hunger Coalition, who leads coordinated action to end hunger in San Diego County, through research, education and advocacy. Held at SILO in Makers Quarter, participants played games like corn hole and beer pong.
