If you ask me, the perfect way to kick off another San Diego summer is by enjoying some tropical drinks near the water. Miss B’s Coconut Club is one of my favorite Mission Beach spots and where you can find me this Memorial Day Weekend!
Served in a hollowed-out pineapple, the Pineapple Pina Colada is only going to be available this weekend!! Escape with Cuban and Caribbean-inspired bites on Miss B’s outdoor patio, steps from the beach. Brunch is be served until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with a $15 champagne and tropical juice flight special.
A perfect compliment to your tiki drinks is the fresh and tropical Ahi Poke – sashimi grade ahi tuna, house poke sauce, mango, pineapple, red onion, serrano, jicama-papaya slaw, and toasted coconut served with seasoned wonton chips.
Another tropical dish I love is the Curried Coconut Shrimp – a little bit spicy with carrot, sweet potato, yellow coconut curry, and served with a side of sofrito rice.
