10 Barrel Brewing has added an all-new Strawberry Sour to its lineup, as part of its Crush series.
R&D Brewmaster, Tonya Cornett, has been experimenting with strawberry sours for years, mastering the perfect combination of ingredients. To create this unique sour brew she started with a tart Berliner Weiss base and then fermented it on fresh strawberries. She then added a touch of cayenne to really make the flavor pop. At 5% ABV and 4 IBU, Strawberry Crush is the perfect beer to sip poolside on a warm summer day.
In addition to being served on tap at 10 Barrel’s rooftop East Village venue, it will also be included in 10 Barrel’s Crush mixed-pack, along with cucumber, apricot and raspberry.
