Provisional Kitchen Cafe & Mercantile
This Valentine’s Day couples can enjoy a romantic 4-course candlelit dinner at Provisional Kitchen featuring dishes from the brand new Italian influenced menu. Highlights on the Valentine’s Day prix fixe dinner menu include veal tenderloin carpaccio, agnolotti chanterelle mushroom, celery root cannelloni, New York strip and scallop duo, tiramisu moderna and more. First course highlights include the choice of house-made french onion soup with French bread and comté cheese, pomegranate salad with pickled persimmon, pomegranate seed, mixed greens, maple-sherry vinaigrette and toasted hazelnut; and stuffed shells with spinach, mushroom, ricotta, creamy béchamel and shaved parmesan. For the second course, guests can choose between seared salmon accompanied by braised lentil, roasted turnip, spinach and beurre rouge; clams & linguine with Little Neck clam, white wine cream sauce, pancetta and toast points; duck confit with celeriac puree and cherry demi-glace and roasted acorn squash with butternut date puree, quinoa, snap pea, harissa and toasted almond. BANKERS HILL BAR + Restaurant will set the mood for romance this Valentine’s Day with a romantic prix fixe dinner and optional wine pairings available exclusively on Thursday, Feb. 14.
The four-course dinner will begin with an amuse-bouche, crostini topped with smashed peas, lemon and feta cheese. For the first course, guests may choose between creamed celery root soup with pomegranate, apple, ancho chile and crème fraiche; mushroom polenta with wild mushrooms, green onion vinaigrette and parmesan cheese; gem lettuce salad with pork belly, toasted hazelnuts, whipped goat cheese and hazelnut-sherry vinaigrette; or pork rillette with cornichons, rutabaga jam and ciabatta.
Main course selections include a choice of roasted carrot risotto with sorrel, ricotta salata and mustard bread crumbs; California sea bass with Bloomsdale spinach, oyster mushroom, clam nage and breakfast radish; duck confit with black eyed peas, pickled greens and smoked duck broth; harissa-seared boar loin with saffron farro and sumac yogurt; or cast iron-seared New York steak with Tuscan kale, butternut squash and black garlic.
Dessert options include warm chocolate brownie with espresso-Baileys ice cream, pretzel crunch and salted caramel; angel food cake with coconut gelato and guava preserves; or roasted banana cake served with dulce de leche gelato and topped with melted chocolate.

Newly opened mezcal bar and restaurant Tahona in Old Town has crafted a Valentine’s Day dinner experience to feed all the senses. Guests can join Tahona on February 14 at either a 6 p.m. or 8 p.m. seating time for a romantic evening lit by candlelight and featuring a four-course meal by Chef Adrian Villareal Mora with mezcal pairings. Tahona will also offer an assortment of specialty cocktails designed to complement the prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu, and Spanish guitarist Augustin El Moro will play live music throughout the evening, setting a memorable ambiance for guests.
