Now that summer is in full swing, we’ve found a way to take in the San Diego sunshine and consume unlimited amounts of tacos at the same time.
Cue: HarborFest. Chula Vista’s largest FREE family-friendly event is coming back for another year of live music across three stages, a diverse and delicious selection of food and drink, and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Brought to you by the City of Chula Vista and presented by the Port of San Diego, HarborFest will take place on Saturday, August 18, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Bayside Park near the Chula Vista Marina.
The event will offer a plethora of things to do and see, including an exotic automobile display, a vibrant art exhibition, and the fan-favorite Food Truck Alley. A paradise for kiddos, The Discovery Zone will keep the young (and young at heart) entertained all day with towering inflatable jumpy slides, outdoor laser tag, giant hamster balls (xorbing), a rock climbing wall, interactive activities to learn about our seaside ecosystem, and even free kayaking and paddle board lessons.
Bring along the fur babies too! The pet-friendly event includes a Pet Parade and goodie bags full of treats for our little sidekicks.
Perhaps the most anticipated portion of HarborFest is the Tacos, Spirits, and Craft Beer Revolution. For $25 per ticket, wander along San Diego Bay feasting on unlimited tacos from some of San Diego’s best chefs, sip on artisanal spirits, craft beer and fine wine, and vote for your favorite vendors to win the coveted “Best of the Fest” showdown.
The Tacos, Spirits, and Craft Beer Revolution will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at HarborFest. Additional ticket options include the Tacos Only ticket ($20) or a Champagne, Rose & Wine Tasting ($10).
